Your Guide to Wedding Planning :)

Got engaged recently? Here’s a list of websites, forums, and online community that can help and guide you all throughout your wedding planning. Trust me, these sites will really help you from scratch to that most awaited wedding day! And who knows, you might find your new set of friends here. I did! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  1. WeddingsAtWork
  • We call ourselves W@Wies. It has several communities for you to choose from. But since my blog is about being recently engaged, I recommend that you subscribe to the W@W Egroup. It is an online community for soon-to-be brides and grooms. No suppliers allowed. We practice responsible posting of comments/feedback here. So watch what you post.
  • Posting of topics, messages, comments, reply shall be thru the yahoo group account of W@W and you will be required to always include your signature at the end of every message.ย  You will understand what I am talking about once you joined the W@W Egroup. Don’t worry, you will be provided with guidelines and our Sissies there are all friendly and nice ๐Ÿ™‚ You wont feel like a newbie.
  • This is exciting because you get to meet couples (usually the brides.. but there are also grooms who join here) who are of the same wedding date like yours.ย  I have found my co- 12.13.14 brides and groom here and we never stop sharing ideas, tips, reviews, suppliersย  and even attending to bridal fairs ๐Ÿ™‚ Surely a happy wedding preps! High five to my Sisses Carol, Nikki, Jona, Issa, Mariee, Lie, Jan, and Jean and to Bro Melvin. Yup, we have a groom W@Wie ๐Ÿ™‚ Yeeebbahhh barely five months to go before our bigday! #project121314

2. GirlTalk

  • This is under the Female Network Website. GirlTalk hasย  several communities for you to choose from depending on your needs. But I will promote here the Engagement & Weddings Community for all soon-to-be married couples.
  • It is basically like W@W except that we call ourselves GTs or GirlTalkers here and you have the option to use a code name instead of your real name and access to the community is not thru yahoo. We also practice responsible posting of comments and feedback here.
  • Girls here are also helpful and friendly.ย  You will feel like you have found your long lost sisters in this forum.
  • It also has topics and you can also post comments and pm someone you want to ask for a specific question. Topics with recently posted comments are the ones on top of the list.

I really love both W@W and GT. I cannot imagine wedding planning without them. All my virtual friends there have helped and inspired me a lot.ย  I love you girls to bones. And to the Administrators of both forums, thank you for making wedding planning so much easier! You guys are heaven sent to us.
